BARBARA BECKER SIMON - BANGLE BRACELETS AND INSTANT EARRINGS
Oct. 13-14, 2012

On Day One, workshop students constructed a carved bangle bracelet in one of the exciting new line of metal clays, FASTFIRE BRONZclay, PMC Pro or PMC Sterling. The technique of carving was explored as surface decoration, and students learned to create custom firing containers for their bangles.
On Day Two, students learned to use PMC paper and 20 gauge, round fine silver wire to quickly construct beautiful, lightweight earrings in a very short time. The earrings wereset with half-drilled gem balls or pearls or fully drilled pearls or beads.
